Yesterday i posted something about the media coverage that “Global warming” and “Climate change” and many are saying that Climate change is consider a new religion.

The fight between Global warming and climate change is very tight, while television and newspapers promote them, and politicians want to build their images around these,while happens in world to make it a better one.

We made our mind about climate change, the new religion. We can remember the religion influence on the worlds progress, they tried to stop everything that might change the world in better, saying that it is wrong. Now, climate change will try to do the same. Why they want to keep everything as  it is now ? Because they are profiting now, and if thing are changing, they have to invest more for the future, and they want only to get money.

What can we say about Global warming ? I think that global warming promoters are making their plans for short term. Researchers said  that the earth has not been warming in the past 10 years, and they can manipulate trough media, but they can’t change the truth, so they have to get the money now, how about money laundering ? Donating money to poor countries to help them to use regenerating power and such are not the real problems of our planet, and we all know that charities is made in most cases for money laundering.

These are 2 things that we hear more and more these days, there are problem that we know we have, but we are unsure if they are real or not. Besides all the media coverage on this subject, what we have ? Heavy industries and high traffic.

While the Climate change seems more realistic and normal, we can’t expect the temperature to stay at the same level during decades.

About the Global warming, we can’t say too much, we look outside and we see how cold it is. We hear that Global warming cancels Christmas , but it is right to say that ? So, i cannot agree with Global warming, but Climate change seems more realistic. Or, let me guess, Global warm is the term used in the summer, and climate change is used winter.

It is the percent of population from each European country who believe in a God. As we can see, so few people believe in god in well developed countries. Let’s ask how many of them believe in Climate change, i bet there are many more. The conclusion, as many are suggesting here and here , Climate change is a new Religion.

We are all acing for a better world, a non polluting one, but my question is: are we doing the right things or we are just trying to prove that we want to change things in better ?

People who take decisions on this world are meeting up at Copenhagen to discuss about global warming, but i wonder if they forgot to look outside.

Let’s look at people interest on this subject, using data taken from google trends .

People interest in global warming is very high, and i’m wondering  why, when i’m freezing out and all my country is stuck in snow. We have the highest amount of snow from the last 20 years, i can bet is proportional with the amount of democracy around here.

In most cases we say: it is twice hot as yesterday, it is twice hot than last week. When we refer in this way, we think at temperature as being normal at 15 degrees celsius, acceptable at 25 and hot over 30. If yesterday were 25 degrees, we can say that today is twice hot than yesterday with only 33 degrees celsius, 33 is not double of 25, but we say it, because we don’t think in degrees, we think just how hot our skin feels.

The answer of the question in this topic is found in math, the formula for converting celsius to fahrenheit is multiply by 1.8  and then add 32.  In this way it is clear that doubling both values, we won’t get a doubled result, because we have that +32, which is always constant.

F =  C * 1.8 + 32

I’ve searched the web and i found interesting that the most of the people who learn a new programming language choose to build a temperature converter in their first apps created. Maybe we can call it the second Hello World

I think it is because a temperature converter uses some key features: data input, data processing and data output. Different temperatures scales make it easy to get used with selectors and buttons, and also with math.
