We reached the water freezing point with this series of articles. Just as a note, in celsius temperature the water freezes at 0 degrees, which means 32 in fahrenheit. The celsius scale is made to have key points ( water freezing and boiling ) at round values, 0 and 100. That values are for normal conditions, like pressure. At different pressure, water freezes and boils at different values.

There are so many temperature scales because ones are easier to make calculations with, ones are for human brain, others for different situations, etc. The funniest is delisle, which is almost the opposite of celsius scale.
